ANTHONY MATTIO was born around 1891. He came to Camden NJ before World War I. He eventually came to live at 1264 Mechanic Street, where he raised 7 children, Philomena, Jennie, Anna, Antoinette, Louis, Nicholas, and Anthony Jr. He found work as a sprayer for the Camden County Mosquito Control Board. Anthony Mattio was a member of the Camp Guglielmo Marconi 24, Order of Brotherly Love, an Italian fraternal organization that had been founded in 1925. Anthony Mattio pased away on July 18, 1950. He was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon PA. |
