He was survived by his parents, with whom he had lived with, at 39 Highland Avenue in Delaware Township (present-day Cherry Hill) NJ and his sisters. His sister Gilda was the wife of Mesrob Avedissian, who for many years owned Crystal Cleaners at 1012 Broadway in Camden.

CAR SKIDS; MAN HURT

When an automobile skidded at Fourth and Walnut Streets, last night, a pedestrian was injured. Tony Gentile, 17, of 442 Line Street, told police he attempted to apply his brakes and his car swerved into Samuel Ranier, 47, of 413 Pine Street. Ranier was taken to Cooper Hospital by Gentile, where he was treated for bruises of the leg and thigh. No charges were preferred against Gentile.
