PRIVATE FIRST CLASS STANLEY F. PRZYTULA was born in Camden NJ on August 23rd, 1924 to Joseph and Michelina Przytula. His father had come to America from Poland in 1906, finding work at the New York Shipbuilding Company shipyard. The family lived at 1521 Newport Street, in Camden NJ. Stanley Przytula attended St. Joseph Parochial School and Cooper B. Hatch Jr. High School. After leaving school, he found work at the New York Shipyard in Camden NJ. Joseph Przytula passed away on December 4, 1941 in Camden.

Stanley Przytula enlisted in the army, and after a period of basic training at Fort Bragg NC, he was sent overseas. While in action in France he was wounded in action in September of 1944, for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. News of this incident was reported in the Camden Courier-Post on November 28, 1944. He returned to his unit and continued to serve with distinction until January 20th, 1945 when he was killed in action in Luxembourg,

Stanley Przytula was survived by his mother, Mrs. Michelina "Minnie" Przytula-Murawska, a sister, Mrs. Jean Koslowska, and an uncle, Valentine Przytula.
