PRIVATE ANTHONY ORDILE, of the U.S. Marines had lived at 1350 Sheridan Street in Camden NJ. He was serving at Cape May NJ when he was fatally injured when struck by a car while on guard duty at the naval base there on November 22, 1943. He was 20 at the time of his death.
