PRIVATE WILLIAM G. WAGNER was born in Pennsylvania in 1915. He had a grammar school education, and was single when drafted at Fort Dix NJ on January 29, 1942. Assigned to the 305th Infantry Regiment, 77th Infantry Division, Private Wagner was killed in action against the Japanese on Leyte, Philippine Islands on December 13th, 1944 at the age of 28. He was survived by his sister, Mrs. John L. Tanier, of 1348 Chase Street, Camden NJ.
