PRIVATE FIRST CLASS VICTOR J. DI RICO was born on February 8, 1922. He attended Camden High School prior to being inducted into the Army in October of 1842. Assigned to the  51st Armored Infantry Battalion, 4th Armored Division, he went overseas in December of 1943, and he was killed in action  on September 18, 1944 in France.  

Victor Di Rico was survived by his mother, Beatrice Villanova, of 231 Sycamore Street in Camden NJ, and a brother Emilio, who was then serving with the Army in a medical unit. His death was reported in the October 4, 1944 edition of the Camden Courier-Post.

Private First Class Di Rico's body was returned to the United States after the war. he was buried at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly NJ on December 9, 1948.
