STAFF SERGEANT FRANK H. KEELEY was born November 22, 1912. the son of Frank Keeley of Camden NJ. He lived at 2260 Mickle Street in East Camden. He had been a member of the 157th Field Artillery Regiment, New Jersey National Guard prior to July 9, 1940. Activated when the National Guard was mobilized in 1940, he later qualified for flight duty, and was trained as a flight engineer and gunner. He went overseas in March of 1944.

Serving with the 452nd Bomber Squadron 322nd Bombardment Group, Staff Sergeant Keeley was killed in France on August 16, 1944. after the war ended, his body was brought home to new jersey and he was buried at Beverly National Cemetery, in Beverly NJ, on January 21, 1949. His death was reported in the August 31 edition of the Camden NJ Courier-Post.
