HUNTER STREET is in the Morgan Village section of Camden, running east from South 8th Street to Morgan Boulevard, with which it intersects, and coming to an end where a walking path begins in Evers Park. Hunter Street appears in City Directories as far back as 1878, and on maps from the 1890s, but it appears that the first and only buildings to go up on Hunter Street were built in the 1940s, and appear to be identical in design with the nearby Crestbury Apartments. |
Do you have an Hunter Street memory or picture. Let me know by e-mail so it can be included here. |
