Theresa LaMaina is recorded as operating a bar at 824 South 3rd Street, the corner of 3rd and Pine Streets, in the 1931 and 1943 Camden City Directories. The same bar is noted as being run by Mrs. Anna LaMaina in 1947. This bar is not listed in Bell Telephone directories in the mid-1950s and onwards.

The LaMaina family also operated bars at other locations in Camden. The LaMaina Cafe at 501 Trenton Avenue, the corner of Newton Avenue and Trenton Avenue and run for many years by Nicholas LaMaina, served sandwiches, and was a well known spot in Camden.
