APOLLO BAR
2312 Federal Street

The Apollo Bar was known as Spuhler's Grille from at least the early 1940s through 1960, when owner Harry Spuhler passed away. It was a fixture on Federal Street in East Camden. In the mid 1960s the bar was known as Cressman's Cafe. By 1970 the bar's name had changed to the Apollo Bar, and would remain as such until June 24, 1998, when the bar was shut down after a patron, Jose Rosas, was shot a juvenile, Felix Perez, who was sentenced to a lengthy prison term. The owner during this time was known as "Reds".
