STELIOS C. "STEVE" STAFFOS owned the S&S Cafe which was located at 1250 Kaighn Avenue from the early 1950s and as late as the fall of 1977. After disposing of the bar he owned the Town House Restaurant in Merchantville.

Last a resident of Moorestown NJ, Steve Staffos passed away at the age of 93 on December 24, 2007.

Age 93 years, on December 24, 2007, of Moorestown, NJ, formerly of Merchantville, NJ. Born in Ikaria, Greece.
Beloved husband of the late Rose M. (nee Mavronikolas) Saffos. Dear father of Desa S. Wilson and her husband Dr. John G. Wilson of Moorestown, NJ and the late Christopher S. Saffos and his wife Nancy L. Saffos of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Stelios was the owner of The Town House Restaurant, of Merchantville, NJ and prior to that owned the S&S Cafe in Camden, NJ. He was an active member of St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church of Cherry Hill, NJ. He was a 50 year member of AHPA, The Pan-Ikarian Society and was a member of the Masonic Fraternity. He served our country during World War II in the Army.
His service in celebration of his life will be 11 am Friday at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, Cherry Hill, NJ where friends may call beginning 10 AM. His viewing will be Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM at the church. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. His family requests that in lieu of any other expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Steve be made to The St. Thomas Senior Housing Fund, St. Thomas Church, 616 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Arrangements under the direction of THE STEPHENSON-BROWN FUNERAL HOME, Merchantville, NJ 08002.
