JOHN PABST worked worked for the Camden Fire Department as a maintenance repairman for over 20 years, retiring on Pension on October 1, 1983 at the age of 81. He made his home at 332 North 41st Street in East Camden.

The son of Henry and Elizabeth Pabst, he was born and grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He did not appear in Camden City Directories in the 1940s, and did not appear in New Jersey Bell Telephone Directories in 1956 or 1959, however, he was living in Camden when appointed to the Fire Department on July 23, 1963.

Last a resident of Pennsauken, John Pabst passed away on July 18, 1989.
