HAROLD C. MANY was born April 19, 1893. He taught in the Camden public school system for several years. The 1929 City Directory shows him living in Woodbury and teaching at the Continuation School, which was located in the Mount Vernon Street School building at 555 Mount Vernon Street. He was named vice-principal of the Continuation School in that year, and held that post until the school was disbanded in February of 1933.

In June of 1933 he was named as the first mathematics teacher to hold teach at Woodrow Wilson High School, which opened the following September.

Harold Many became the head librarian for Camden's Free Public Library in August of 1936. 

A newspaper article from February of 1938 shows Harold Many living at 3070 Mickle Street in East Camden. The 1947 Camden City Directory shows him living with his wife Lilla S. Many at 29 North 30th Street in East Camden. He later moved to Philadelphia. 

Harold Many passed away in January of 1978


Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Many, of 3070 Mickle street, spent the weekend in Port Jefferson, L. I., as guests of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Many.
