He married around 1883, and by 1897 had moved to Camden, where he and his wife Mary conducted photographic studios in Camden and at Wildwood in the late 1890s into the early 1910s. They first appear in Camden Directories in 1897, at 1032 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-CooperStreet.htm">Cooper Street</a>. The 1898 and 1899 City Directories show them living at 716 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-PearlStreet.htm"> Pearl Street</a>, and conducting business at 427 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a>. </span></font> </p> <p style="margin-left: 6; margin-right: 6"><font color="#000000" size="4"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 8.0pt">The 1900 Census shows the Shermans to be childless, and living at 427 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a>. The Shermans' home and business are listed at 427 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a> in City Directories through 1906. The 1906 Directory features a cover at with two Camden locations, 427 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a> and 934 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a>. From 1907 though 1912 the business was only listed at 934 Broadway. Edward Frank Sherman passed away prior to the compilation of the 1912 City Directory. Mary Sherman kept the business open at 934 <a href="../camden-streets/CamdenNJ-Streets-Broadway.htm">Broadway</a> for year or so.
