DOUGLAS ARENSBERG, CAMDEN DIESEL
TECHNICIAN, 32,
Douglas Arensberg, 32, a Maple Shade resident and a diesel technician for the Camden City Fire Department, died Monday at Cooper Hospital-University Medical Center, Camden. Mr. Arensberg worked for the fire department for the last 12 years. He was also a professional drag racer and a member of the Cunningham Competition Racing Team in South Harrison and of International and National Hot Rod Associations. Born in Camden, he lived in Maple Shade for the last 23 years. He was a 1982 graduate of John K. Ossi Vocational-Technical School, now the Medford Campus of the Burlington County Vocational & Technical School. He is survived by his parents, Joseph H. and Patricia A. Flemming Arensberg; two brothers, Joseph M. and Steven A.; two sisters, Diane DeRita and Patti Pacana; his paternal grandparents, Alfred ''Jake'' and Florence; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Flemming. Friends may call from noon today at Inglesby/Givnish's of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main St., where funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Colestown Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 496 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034. |
