DOMINIC PALESE had a long career with the Camden Police Department. On his first night on the job, on June 27, 1944, while partnered with Detective Karl Friederichs in East Camden, he got into a chase in which the tow officers fried their weapons at fleeing suspects.

Dominick Palese was still on the force as late as 1967.
